A regulated profession

The law prohibits any person not entered in the register of the Order of Chartered-Accountants, to carry out, on a purely liberal basis, work and accounting assignments.

Transgressing the law exposes the guilty parties to penal sanctions.

The recourse to a Chartered-Accountant is for the clients a guarantee of competence and security; the members of the Order are compelled to observe a strict deontology which includes a disciplinary responsibility; they must obligatorily subscribe to a professional civil liability insurance; they and their collaborators must follow a permanent and continuous vocational training.

Moreover, only the signature of the auditor entitles the members to approved centers of management so as to benefit from tax reduction planned by the law.
